The glitter of food


  • Boil some water in a medium pot
  • Measure out 1 cup white or red quinoa into a fine-mesh strainer
  • Rinse the quinoa
  • Add to the boiling water and stir
  • Boil until the seeds have opened and are tender, around 12 minutes
  • Strain back into that strainer and let it drip dry for at least 5 minutes


Careful, this stuff gets everywhere.
