Method
- Boil some water in a medium pot
- Measure out 1 cup white or red quinoa into a fine-mesh strainer
- Rinse the quinoa
- Add to the boiling water and stir
- Boil until the seeds have opened and are tender, around 12 minutes
- Strain back into that strainer and let it drip dry for at least 5 minutes
