Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon or rye
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- 2–5 dashes angostura bitters
Garnish
- thin citrus wheel
- maraschino cherry
Method
- Combine bourbon, vermouth, bitters, and ice in a cocktail shaker
- Shake until the outside of the cocktail shaker is very cold to the touch
- Strain into a coupe or cocktail glass
- Garnish
