Ingredients
- 1 medium russet potato
- 11⁄2 tsp unsalted butter
- salt, pepper, cayenne, etc
Method
- Peel and wash the potato
- Grate the potato onto some cheesecloth
- Use the cheesecloth to wring as much water out of the potatoes as possible
- Heat a nonstick skillet with the butter
- Add the grated potato and season it
- Let it get crusty and then flip and fold the crusty part back in
- Repeat until hash browns are perfect
