Chateau Sazerac


  • absinthe rinse
  • 12 oz whiskey
  • 12 oz amaro
  • 12 oz simple syrup or honey
  • lemon peel garnish


  • Pour very small amount of absinthe into glass and rotate it around to coat
  • Add ice to a cocktail shaker
  • Add whiskey, amaro, and syrup
  • Stir until very cold
  • Strain into a cocktail glass
