Caramelized Almonds


  • 150g (~1 cup) whole raw almonds
  • 70g granulated sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp water


  • Prepare a landing tray with a silicone baking mat
  • In a small pot
    • Bring the sugar and water to a boil for a few minutes
    • Add the almonds and stir continuously, still on medium-high heat
    • Keep stirring as the sugar crystallizes on the almonds
    • Stir until the sugar turns into caramel, ~5 mins
  • Pour onto the mat and separate
  • Let cool completely
